I started Take 5 Photography in 2005 on the heels of a photography internship with Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. During my time at Disney, I saw how much they instilled customer service into every aspect of their business. Disney cast members are trained to create "Magical Moments" and to "Take 5" to put that extra time and effort into the guest experience. That's what I wanted to bring to my business -- the fact that I will always take the time to give my clients a fun and laid-back photo session experience. I will never look at my watch or hurry things along. Photography should never be rushed; I will make sure to take the time to get it right and we will get to have more fun in the process!
HOW IT ALL STARTED
I'm primarily a natural light photographer and I usually try to schedule photo sessions during that magical last hour or so before the sun goes down.

My husband and I had our first child in March of 2012. People kept telling me when Jack was a newborn that time is going to FLY by. I always shook my head...yeah yeah...
Now 12 years and another baby later and I am overwhelmed with the realization of how right they were! They (of course) were very well photographed, and I love looking back and remembering that Jack had a toe that was a little crooked, a small angel kiss spot in the middle of his forehead, and Lainey had the most amazing dimples :-)
I will forever cherish that fleeting time and I want to be able to do the same for your family. Before butterfly kisses become fist bumps and holding her hand to cross the street becomes handing her the keys to her first car.
