Archive for 'Trash the Dress Sessions'
I’ve been pretty behind in blogging lately with wedding senior season wrapping up, but it’s been pretty easy for me to post a quick picture or 2 of what I’m working on and sessions I just shot. Become a fan (or “like”) my Facebook page to keep up to date on all my latest work.
This has been a craaaa-zy summer!! My best friend Colleen flew in from NYC to shoot some weddings and sessions with me and we decided we needed to have some fun too! We took a trip down to my parent’s beach house in Oceanside, OR and had a blast with hair, makeup, sand, and surf!
This is just a preview..LOTS more to come!
How freaking beautiful is my bff?!
Here’s the last part of our beach retreat shootout! Group member Maalaea of i & m photography was so beautiful as our model. Thank you Maalaea!
2010 is bringing lots of changes to Take 5 Photography! I’m launching a new wedding website sometime next month and totally re-branding my portrait site, blog, marketing materials, and client proofing process. I will be keeping the old logo for my weddings, but since I shoot mainly portraits I thought it would be fun to have a new look! I’m super excited about the new branding and even more excited to show you all the cool modern products I’m going to be offering. So fun!
For now…here’s the new logo! New sites launching next month!
I have recently had a couple inquiries about if Take 5 Gift Certificates were available. My answer — of COURSE they are!
I have fun making them too! (All are custom made depending on what session and products you want to give as a gift)
Take 5 Photograhy has had a facebook fan page for about 9 months now. They have recently changed the way they have their business and product pages. It now looks and acts more like profiles. I am personally really liking the change! You can see what I have recently updated, write on Take 5′s wall, and I can post discounts and specials that I’m running.
Please add Take 5 Photography as a friend!
A couple months ago, I met up with a fellow photographer, Melissa of Soul Mates Photography. We talked about working together for weddings and traded senior picture ideas and tricks of the trade. We then started talking about wanting to do a “Trash the Dress” session or “After Session”. I’ve been wanting to do one for a long time but things just never seemed to line up right.
Melissa contacted me a couple weeks ago and told me that one of her bride’s is excited to do one and asked if I would like to join. Of course my answer was yes! I was so excited to do something different!
When the day arrived I was a little tired from shooting a 10 hour wedding the night before, but kept thinking about the cool shots we’d get and toughed it out! So glad I did…just look at that rainbow!
Katie’s After Session on Portland’s Heliport!
(Some are very similar…I’m very indecisive and couldn’t decide which to leave out so I posted them all.
)
THANK YOU Melissa and Katie!
If you got married recently and want to get back in your dress for some fun shots send me an email! I had so much fun with these…hope to do lots in the future!
