Jennifer is my fabulous accountant. She takes great care of me! I wanted to repay her for saving this total creative’s sorry behind. My bookkeeping was a mess before her! I thought a summer family photo session would be so fun and hopefully show her how grateful I am but I wasn’t prepared for how adorable they are! I could have photographed them all day!! I don’t know which I loved more…the kids, the parents, the freakin AMAZING August light, or the family as a whole. It was all just perfect. I was almost salivating behind my camera! haha

The kids had a blast together playing on the play ground — hide and go seek, tag, and pushing each other on the swing. So fun! I can’t wait to photograph them again.

THANK YOU JENNIFER!!! You are so amazing and your family is absolutely beautiful! If anyone is as lost as I was with their accounting and business needs definitely check out her and her husband’s business – JMA Business Services. My lifesaver! :-)

I’ve known Cathy (“the mom”) ever since we were in the same pledge class in our sorority at WSU. I was so excited when she contacted me about a family session with her 2 boys and her boyfriend Scott’s 2. My husband and I were planning on a trip to the beach and I thought it would be fun to see if they’d want to make a weekend out of it and join us down the Oregon coast for the night. The kids had a blast running around and playing in the sand. They all got along so well! The weather was perfect, the kids had fun, and we got some great pictures! Definitely didn’t hurt that they were all cute as heck! I love it!

Thanks Cathy and Scott! Can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you two. You know…I also photograph weddings! hehe :-)

I am soooo behind on blogging weddings! Where has the summer gone?! Wow…

Anyway! Here’s Taylor and Aaron’s beautiful day in Seattle, WA on June 5th, 2010. Taylor is my husband Patrick’s good friend from college. We were so excited when she wanted us to photograph their important day!

They had great luck with the weather, there were no clouds in the sky. Hard to find good photo locations, but we didn’t have to battle the rain or cold! We started off with getting ready at Taylor’s parents house, then after the first look we headed to Gasworks Park. There were some beautiful trees we used for bridal party pictures. Then we continued on to the UW campus. To say these 2 are Husky fans is an understatement! It was hard for this die-hard Coug to walk on the UW campus for long, but I powered through it. :-)

After getting some great portraits and fun football field shots, we arrived at Sand Point Community United Methodist Church for formal pictures and the ceremony (of course). I love churches with loft areas! Overalls are beautiful.

Finally, after the ceremony we ended the day with a fun reception at the Sand Point Country Club. We took Taylor and Aaron around the grounds for more portraits, then came inside to photograph all their fun details. They had a beautiful candy bar, colorful cake, and they even had the “voice of the Huskies” there to announce them!

It was a beautiful day and Patrick and I had a blast! Thanks so much for having us there to photograph your wedding Taylor and Aaron! Hope you enjoy your pictures. :-)

Alexandria came all the way down from Kennewick, WA for our session! I was so honored that her and her mom took the time and effort just to get pictures done by lil ol me! :-)

Thanks so much you guys!

I loved this session! Sandra and her husband Chris were so great. You can just feel the love! Congrats on your new addition you two! Hope to see you again soon and meet your little one! :-)

Attention 2011 seniors! Take 5 Photography is offering cool new products this year! First sample to come in…accordion albums! There are 2 sizes available, 3×3 square, or a 4×8 vertical (shown).

Keep checking back for more fun new stuff!

Denise contacted me for a maternity session but let me know that she didn’t need too many poses or outfits. I explained how my mini sessions worked and she loved the idea! We started out at my house for some studio shots and beautiful wrapped shots in front of my sliding glass window. Then we headed down the block to an open field, picked some wold flowers, and took advantage of the late afternoon light. Love the field shots!

These beautiful women were my last session during my mini session day last month. So fun to photograph older children…it’s been a while since I’ve taken pictures of this age group. Such cute sisters!

Continuing with updating you guys of my mini session day last month!

These 2 cousins were cracking me up! Savaughn loved her sunglasses and bubbles…Jake refused to smile for me but I managed to sneak a few! His mommy is expecting a new brother in a few months, stay tuned for her maternity session!
