Oh how I love social networking. I’ve been able to stay in contact with a lot of my high school and college friends like I never would have before through Facebook and MySpace. It’s so great to see how we’ve all “grown up”….some of us more than others!
I’ve known Emily since we were freshman at Central Catholic High School. Since graduating, she has moved to Wyoming with her fiance and 2 girls. We’ve kept in touch through MySpace over the years and I was so excited to get a message from her a couple weeks ago letting me know that she and her family will be in town. We scheduled a shoot withher family and her soon to be in-laws at my studio and this is the result!
Thanks Emily and Dan! It was SO great to see you again! Hope to take more pictures for you guys over the years as your girls grow. You have a beautiful family!
This little one is the creation of my past wedding clients. They waited a looong time for him and as you can see, he was worth the wait! His mommy should enter him in cutest baby contests!
Congrats you guys, he’s BEAUTIFUL!
This shoot was very close to my heart. My younger sister Katie is getting married in August and I told her that I would trust no one but me to shoot their engagement pictures. (I wish I could shoot their wedding, dang matron-of-honor duties!
)
Ian is a great guy and I’m so happy to have him be a part of our family. He fits right in!
Congratulations Katie and Ian! Only 5 more months to go till I get a new brother!
I’m always SO happy when my maternity clients call me back and want a newborn session once their baby is here. It’s so great to see those little faces and toes that were growing inside their mommies tummies when I saw them last. I can only hope they’ll book with me again and again so I can finish the story that I started!
Look how cute!! CONGRATS Brian and Audra!!
Take 5 Photograhy has had a facebook fan page for about 9 months now. They have recently changed the way they have their business and product pages. It now looks and acts more like profiles. I am personally really liking the change! You can see what I have recently updated, write on Take 5′s wall, and I can post discounts and specials that I’m running.
Please add Take 5 Photography as a friend!
NW Kids is a great resource for moms and dads. They compile “extensive listings of local and regional resources to keep you and your littles entertained, educated, and enriched.”
I have been really impressed with their services, especially their email newsletters. If you haven’t already, definitely get on their mailing list!
Today, I checked out their photography guide to see my listing and I was totally surprised! Out of all the area photographers listed, I’m so honored to have my photo featured on the photographer guide page! Check it out!
A couple months ago, I met up with a fellow photographer, Melissa of Soul Mates Photography. We talked about working together for weddings and traded senior picture ideas and tricks of the trade. We then started talking about wanting to do a “Trash the Dress” session or “After Session”. I’ve been wanting to do one for a long time but things just never seemed to line up right.
Melissa contacted me a couple weeks ago and told me that one of her bride’s is excited to do one and asked if I would like to join. Of course my answer was yes! I was so excited to do something different!
When the day arrived I was a little tired from shooting a 10 hour wedding the night before, but kept thinking about the cool shots we’d get and toughed it out! So glad I did…just look at that rainbow!
Katie’s After Session on Portland’s Heliport!
(Some are very similar…I’m very indecisive and couldn’t decide which to leave out so I posted them all.
)
THANK YOU Melissa and Katie!
If you got married recently and want to get back in your dress for some fun shots send me an email! I had so much fun with these…hope to do lots in the future!
